UGC-NET is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges.The December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) of UGC NET will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in multi shifts as per the time schedule specified in selected Cities spread across the Country.

Instructions for filling Online Application Form:

Candidates have to apply for December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles) of UGC NET “Online” ONLY by accessing the website: ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted in any case.
Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected.

Fee Payable for UGC-NET :

General/Unreserved Rs. 1100/-
Gen-EWS*/ OBC-NCL** Rs. 550/-
Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Person with Disability (PwD)/ Third gender Rs. 275/-

Note :Payment fee using the Payment Gateway(s) integrated to the Online Application through Net Banking Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI

Mode of Examination:

The Examination shall be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
