The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry
of Human Resource Development (MHRD) as an independent/autonomous, self-reliant
and self-sustained premier testing organization. The conduct of the CSIR- UGC
NET Examination has been entrusted to the NTA by CSIR, Government of India.
The Test will be conducted in two different
shifts as given below: Shift Timing Duration
*Shift – 1 (Morning) -------------------------------------09:30
am to 12:30 pm (IST)[ 03 hours]
*Shift – 2 (Afternoon)
---------------------------------- 02:30 pm to 05:30 pm (IST) [03 hours]
*Subject(s) in a shift will be decided based
on number of students.
